Those who know me know I'm a Dana 60-a-holic. As of March 2009, I currently have 20 Chevy Dana 60 front axles, and yes, a home for each one of them though I'm possibly selling a couple. Here are some pictures of some of the trucks I had to buy to get them, and some of the adventures I had to go on to retrieve them...

Not all of the Dana 60 full stories are written out, but heres a few pictures showing where some of the Dana 60's have come from. Other facts: The most Dana 60 front ends I have had at 1 time is 25 (December 13, 2007 and January 2008). I have outright sold 2 Dually version Dana 60 fronts, and 6 SRW version fronts, and let one go with the truck when I got rid of the '81 Dually crew cab but then bought the truck back again. I have also traded 2 Dana 60 fronts for others with lower gears, so in actuallity have owned a grand total of 35 different Dana 60 fronts overall. But 25 is still the top number all at once as of January 2008.

Places travelled to in order to retrieve Dana 60's:

Roy, Utah

Bandon, Oregon

Nakusp, BC, Canada

Kingston, Idaho

Frenchtown, Montana

Bend, Oregon

Tacoma, Washington

Montesano, Washington

Chewelah, Washington

Hayden, Idaho

Seattle, Washington

Portland, Oregon

Moses Lake, Washington

Yakima, Washington

Boardman, Oregon

Boise, Idaho

and even a few from right here in Spokane, Washington.
